Why Choose Us?

Experience

Experience allows a company to go through stages of growth.  In the beginning stage a contractor can make some very costly mistakes.  These mistakes affect the subcontractor as well as the General Contractor.  Some of these mistakes can slow the job down almost to a stop.  Overcome this by choosing a contractor with experience.  R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. has been in business for over 22 years.  We have had our share of mistakes, and we know now how to guard against them.  We carry a track record of great performance, just ask any general contractors we have done business with.

Bonding

Most projects need to have a bond, and if you are not bondable as a subcontractor you either cannot bid with a General Contractor or they have to bond it for you which causes you to use up their bonding capacity.  At R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. we can be bonded up to six million dollars.  Not only do we give you a competitive bid, but we use our bonding capacity and not yours.

Trained professionals

Without trained professional a job will always take longer to finish, the employees are not as dedicated to their jobs, and this shows that their employer does not care about the education of its employees.  R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. has the most trained professionals in the industry.  We provide classes for all of our employees no matter if they have been with us for one week or fifteen years.  Here we believe that once you stop learning you stop growing.

Insured

It is the responsibility of the subcontractor to have insurance for their employees, and their work.  If a subcontractor does not have worker's compensation insurance and something happens on the job the General Contractor will have to pay for it with their insurance, which in the long run will raise their rates.  At R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. we carry insurance on all of our employees.  We do this because we care about their well-being, and also so our General Contractors do not have to.

Safety

Working with a subcontractor that does not take the steps to keep their employees safe will not take the steps to work safe around you.  This not only puts their employees at risk, but it puts the entire job site at risk.  This is a deadly hazard to have.  R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. has a Safety Director that oversees the training of all necessary safety topics.  We also conduct incident investigations when an accident occurs so that we can make sure the accident will not happen twice.  We absolutely care about our employees and we already do what ever it takes to get them home safe everyday.  R.K. Bass is Safety proactive not reactive, meaning we try to stop the accident before it happens.  When we keep our people safe, then we automatically keep YOU safe.

Trust

To trust a company is to trust the character and integrity of the management.  We all know that there are companies today that lack in this area.  Completing the job is only one task of the project.  The company must also be willing to give back when it can.  R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. was and still is built on a foundation of integrity.  It goes without saying that a company exists to produce a profit for its owners and employees, but that’s not where it stops with R.K. Bass Electric, Inc.  The management of this company strives to be leaders in the community.  We are involved in the Chambers of Commerce, Kiwanis, Independent Electrical Contractors, and many other community programs.  We believe that having and showing integrity is a way of life not a chore.

Quality

Anyone can tell you they can provide you quality work.  For 22 years R.K. Bass Electric, Inc. has proven that we have QUALITY work.  Our past performance says it for us.

If you haven’t received a bid from us, then you haven’t received your best offer.”
